I am surprised at how pretty, big, and excellent quality this starfish pendant is for the price! Yes the quality I think is really good! It's heavy. Well made. I didn't expect the great quality, but also didn't expect it to be so big! Wow! It seems bigger in person than the photo. It's a little over 1 1/2 inches. It is loaded with small dark aqua crystals. The crystals appear lighter shade in the photo, but in reality they are darker...on a dark aqua green side, or a dark shade of turquoise. The starfish looks realistic, and nice to wear anywhere. Casual or formal. It's nice to wear with a matching dress in the evening. It is silvertone, not real silver...would be nice. I wish it was. The back of it is hollowed out but they closed it together well, like a cage so it does have some shape to it and the metal is thick. The chain it comes on is longer than I expected too. Closed, it measures 14 inches, and opened it is 28 inches! It is long, but I think you can shorten it by the lobster claw on any of the links. That's what I do if cable chain is too long. It's a cable chain, silvertone, and not very thin. It's strong and of ok quality. Not the best, but holds up the starfish well. It goes good with it. I'm very happy with this necklace and highly recommend it for the great price. It's a bargan and the shipping was free! I really love this pendant. I'm an ocean lover and my birthstone, and my favorite color is turquoise and aqua so this is now one of my favorite pieces of jewelry in my ocean jewelry collection!
