These marker pens work great! I have seen in the reviews where some people think they are dried out and can't get them to work. You have to prime the marker every so often by pushing the tip up and down on a piece of paper to pump the ink to the tip. I have used several brands of transfer pens and these are so far the best ones available out there. They are tough to see on a black shirt but they can be seen enough to transfer and finish your project. They work great on other color fabrics! I am still trying to figure out which color pen shows up best on black. I use them a lot to transfer designs that i create and print out on the computer, and then i trace on the back side(unless you print in mirror image) to iron onto my shirt. Then I use fabric puffy paint to decorate my design. I gave it 5 stars because they are the best option out there. I have had my pens for at least 5 years, maybe longer, and they still work. I will be buying another set soon because mine are finally running out and I do not want to be caught without since I never know when I may need to use them! I have done a lot of shirts over the years and just got done doing 50 shirts for my work. The pens go a long ways! Another tip: if you are transferring the same design multiple times, you are able to use the transfer about three times if you don't iron out the image too dark that you use up the ink. I try to lightly transfer the image when ironing, enough to see so i can get multiple uses out of my transfer design so I don't have to go back and retrace as much when doing multiple shirts.
