I love these pens! We homeschool so I like having a variety of colors to use to organize through the subjects or in our planner. They write very smooth and are easy to grip. Very lightweight.Pens barely worked when new and within a month don’t work at all. They are easy to hold but they don’t write well compared to others. Will not repurchase as they are cheap and not worth the $2 savings compared to other brands.Amazon Basics Gel Pens are pretty similar in quality and feel to other gel pens I've used. I didn't expect them to last as long as they do, and I'm pleasantly surprised at their quality. I have tried the red and the blue, and I am happy with my purchases.This is a nice set but clearly these were handpicked instead of packaged as a set. I received an extra red pen instead of getting the green color. I wish I could just send back the extra red for a green instead of returning the whole set. They do operate and write smoothly.Like Amazon brand, pen works great once you take tiny cap off where gel flows.
