36 pens but 34 colors as 3 black pens are included.I tested all both bold and fine tips. The bold side writes good. The fine is good but a couple were so light you can barely see the color. The fine tip cap on all of the pens are hard to remove. I really like these. They write amazing in cardstock. For costing 28.99, it's ~$1.25 per pen.Well live a leran that my air explore pens don't work in joy. Now I can use pens in the joy.They work well with my “Joy”! But I don’t liked that there’s no name of color.I’m very happy with these pens. They are compatible with my Cricut Joy and they have the added bonus of dual size tips. Best purchase yet.Just got my Cricut joy and we are going to create something beautiful with these pens. So excitedHas a lot of colors. Had a few the were leaking inside the cap & had never used. Leaking from inside somewhere. Caps are very hard to remove, good, if it is sealing - bad if you have problems with hands. I took a pen grip and manipulated it to fit the pen and in the holder perfectly.
